The role will report to the Organisational Development and Change Manager who will work in conjunction with the successful candidate to provide support on associated HR projects including the employee engagement survey and diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Responsibilities:



* Partnering with the organisation on all aspects of L&D by building and maintaining effective relationships with individual teams located both in the UK and overseas
* Working closely with individual teams to undertake periodic training needs analyses (TNAs) based on the annual objectives process, using internal data and face-to-face meetings
* Translating training needs into a programme: designing and delivering (by means of internal and external providers) CDC's annual internal training plan and implementing it including logistical arrangements
* Supporting L&D at CDC by keeping up-to-date with innovative and best-in-class approaches, researching new initiatives and networking externally
* Piloting new training content, formats and delivery methods to support members of both our investment and operational teams
* Designing and delivering skills workshop to all levels of employees
* Designing a programme of internal seminars
* Sourcing, reviewing and managing external training providers
* Monitoring attendance, gathering feedback and writing up training evaluations using existing and potentially new tools and methods
* Preparing management information on training events to shape development

The ideal candidate will have direct experience in L&D and talent management and will have worked closely with internal client groups. They will have had experience of assessing training needs and designing, delivering and evaluation as well as basic budget management.

Previous experience in financial services is desirable.
