We are representing a charity with a heritage dating back several hundred years who are looking to recruit a Human Resources Manager. This organisation, located in a beautiful area of South East London, provides residential support to people of an older age.

As the successful applicant, you will enjoy being the primary contact for HR operational matters across the charity, providing advice on all aspects of HR from recruiting and talent management to health & well being, L&D and ER. As HR Manager you will be responsible for developing and influencing working relationships with key stakeholders to achieve the right balance of challenge and support to ensure progress on key HR issues for the charity to meet its objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

To act as a key contact for managers across the College, ensuring HR good practice and establishing effective relationships with key staff.

To participate in relevant department or team meetings and away days, bringing key insights to people and College wide issues.

To act as a coach to managers and supervisors within departments in raising awareness of expected leadership behaviours.

To lead on HR project work as required to enable the organisation to meet its overall business objectives and to drive improvements to the service offered by the HR Department.

Work with the Head of HR to ensure implementation of the HR Strategy in line with overall business objectives.
