Randstad are excited to be partnering with an organisation in the education Industry, seeking a proactive HR Business Partner to join their HR function.

12 month Fixed Term Contract

You will work in partnership with the Senior Management Team, developing and implementing HR policies and practices that support the delivery of the business objectives, provide a professional HR service across the group and assist with the development and implementation of HR projects and workforce reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the organisation's mission, vision, values and strategic objectives
  • Work on Diversity and inclusion initiatives
  • Implement safeguarding policies and procedures
  • To participate in Company-wide projects and tasks
  • Manage and respond to employee relations issues, taking responsibility for individual casework
  • To assist with change management processes
  • To monitor sickness absence and advise managers on the sickness absence procedure
  • Assist managers with their recruitment cycle
  • Liaising with Trade Unions on the implications of pay structures, conditions of service, allowances and pay protection
  • To develop and revise HR policies and procedures
  • To work closely with the payroll function to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the payroll
  • To implement and process contractual changes for staff on the HR system

Requirements:

  • Chartered member of CIPD or Graduate member working towards Chartered status
  • Up to date knowledge and understanding of Human Resources best practice
  • Experience of working within a Human Resources function, delivering full HR lifecycle advice and administration
  • Experience of working in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to plan and resolve recruitment and HR issues
  • Knowledge and understanding of key Human Resources processes e.g. payroll, HR information systems and recruitment and selection
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively form successful working relationships
