A leading UK and international organisation in the legal sector is looking to recruit a talented HR Business Partner to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a HR professional who has experience in a hands on, operational role and is looking for a true generalist position.

Role includes;

Employee Relations:

* Deal with all employee relations issues (disciplinaries, grievance, redundancy, absence management, capability) and record events appropriately
* Ensure all contractual/legal documents and templates are kept up to date and are in line with organisation policy and current legislation
* Implement guidelines on ER issues ensuring new information and updates are provided to staff and managers
* Provide accurate and timely information and support to colleagues who are managing conflict situations
* Business partnering with managers and directors to discuss team and individual performance and use insights, both in terms of knowledge and metrics, to offer HR solutions and recommendations
* Be proactive in assisting Partners, Directors and Managers with performance management of team members and HR policies and procedures
* Manage and conduct the annual appraisal process

Reward and benefits

* Respond to benefits related queries from fellow employees
* Support the Rewards and Benefits Manager in the delivery of the reward and benefits processes

Learning and Development

* Liaising with the L&D Manager on identifying individual/team development needs

Resourcing and talent planning

* Alert the Resourcing Manager to any recruitment needs
* Assist the Trainee Recruitment Manager with first stage Trainee interviews
* Complete a thorough on boarding process from offer to the end of the probationary period

Service delivery and information

* First point of contact for all internal and external HR enquiries.
* Support change initiatives to help maximise employee engagement.
* Provide the firm with meaningful analytics to enable business improvement
* Implementing systems improvements
* Produce the monthly payroll report for finance ensuring that it is both timely and accurate
* Project work
