We are currently seeking a highly experienced HR Business Partner to join a construction company in Swanley, Kent. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering HR Business Partner support at a high level, ideally within a construction or related industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the business leaders to understand their people priorities and deliver a range of HR initiatives aligned to the business strategy
- Provide expert advice and guidance to managers on all aspects of employee relations, including performance management, disciplinary and grievance issues, and TUPE transfers
- Work with the wider HR team to develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation
- Provide support and coaching to managers on HR best practice, including recruitment, talent management, and employee engagement
- Take an active role in supporting the business through change management activities
Key Requirements:
- CIPD Level 7 qualified or equivalent HR experience at Business Partner level
- A strong background in all HR disciplines, with a strong understanding and knowledge of UK employment law
- Knowledge and experience of TUPE, settlement negotiation and managing redundancy
- Experience of working within a construction or related industry would be highly advantageous
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to think creatively to find solutions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels
