* Liaison with senior management team across functions with the ability to give commercial and credible advice
* Builds, develops and maintains strong relationships with internal client base and provides advice on all HR issues to management and employees
* Ensures that HR topics are managed in compliance with HR policies and regulations
* Manages employee relations cases through to tribunal if required
* Works on projects both locally and globally which add value to HRs corporate services offering
* The HR business partner is involved in drawing up staffing plans and responsible for the implementation
* Provides training and development for managers in all aspects of performance management in collaboration with PTD
* Proactively supports managers with workforce planning and manages redundancies/restructuring

The ideal candidate will have previous front office experience and a strong understanding and/or experience of working across all disciplines within HR.

They will have:

* Demonstrable experience in managing employee relations cases
* Knowledge of the banking industry, banking practices and the regulatory environment
* Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships across all levels of the organisation
* Ability to work autonomously with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience working in an international matrix organisation
