A leading Financial Services organisation is looking to recruit a talented HR Business Partner to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a HR professional who has experience in a hands on, senior HR generalist position.

This is an interim position which offers the successful candidate a high level of autonomy and exposure within the business. This is a people centric organisation which prides itself on its people and offers great benefits which reflect this outlook. Based in the City of London.

Role includes;

- Implement the strategic people plan for the Business Unit.

- Accountable for the implementation and delivery of cyclical People activities in the relevant business units, such as End of Year, Performance Management, Talent Reviews/People Days, Engagement survey and action planning etc.

- Accountable for the provision of HR/Business metrics and insights, identifying trends and themes within the business and translating these insights into actions for the business

- Responsible for identifying business unit "People" related requirements, leveraging the broader people community to ensure these meet business needs.

- Accountable for the implementation of People priority projects within the business unit as directed by department heads, leveraging the broader People UK team, the People community i.e. Centres of Excellence (COE's) and other relevant stakeholders as required ensuring efficient delivery of products/services.

- Influence, engage and be an active and effective member of the Client Group Leadership teams, whilst supporting Business Unit Leaders with advice and coaching on people and business related issues

- Actively promote and role model collaboration and knowledge sharing within the People Function and be an active member of the People UK team and the broader Community

- Support department heads, in delivery of day-to-day activities to contribute to an effective and efficient People function.

Candidates must be CIPD qualified or equivalent, with experience in a similar role in the financial services sector (ideally a small to medium sized organisation). Good knowledge and understanding of employment law, and strong IT skills with experience of HR databases and Excel is required.
