The role will provide comprehensive administrative support to all Talent and Learning & Development activities across the business, as well as provide support to the broader HR Team.

Key Responsibilities

Learning & Talent Development

1 Provide support and guidance to managers on staff for routine queries, leveraging resources within and outside the HR team to address them.
2 Booking/arranging internal and external training events, courses and programmes.
3 Analysing training needs arising from the annual appraisal process.
4 Taking a lead role in supporting the annual appraisal process, including system administration and dealing with queries from staff and managers.
5 Ensuring core L&D systems and procedures are maintained in line with the agreed standards.
6 Managing the Learning Management System including user administration and assisting with coordination of training programme provision as required.
7 Coordinating requests for course feedback and evaluations and collation of responses.
8 Co-ordinating corporate induction activities for new recruits and keeping materials up to date as required.
9 Contributing to the annual Talent Management & Succession Planning process, including maintaining the system.
10 Processing and recording professional memberships and professional qualifications in line with Company policy.

Diversity & Inclusion

2 Maintaining a D&I events/communications calendar and liaising with key stakeholders as appropriate.
3 Contribute to the ongoing development of the Company's D&I strategy.


1 Provide support to HR generalists as required in managing key HR processes, including recruitment, redundancy, disciplinary, grievance etc.
2 Manage the on boarding process for allocated new hires, from offer of employment to first day Induction, including compiling supporting documentation for new contracts and induction packs and draft contracts and offers as required.
3 Provide administrative support in managing the FCA Approved Persons applications process.

Required Experience and/or Skills

1 Proven strong administrative and organisational skills, and experience working in an HR function, including exposure to recruitment and L&D.
2 Strong interpersonal skills, with a flexible and "can do" attitude. Ability to pick up new tasks quickly and operate independently.
3 Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with and an eye for detail, ensuring a consistent high level of accuracy.
4 Good level of numeracy.
5 Able to handle confidential and sensitive information.
6 Able to work well under pressure, and manage competing priorities.
7 Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
