HR Associate Director - UK & Ireland

This highly successful financial services organisation is seeking a committed Senior HR BP or HR Director who can help them shape their future. Working closely with the MD and key stakeholders your remit will be to continue to develop and implement the change agenda for their UK and Irish companies. Your focus will be on the delivery of a strong and proactive HR platform and culture to support these initiatives.


* Great opportunity to be responsible for the strategic direction as well as some day-to-day operational management of human resources including learning and development.
* Reporting directly to the MD with a dotted line to the Western Europe head of HR
* Contribute at board level and work closely with the management team of various departments.
* Manage organisational development projects that span across the UK and Ireland.
* Enjoy the hands-on strategic work of an HR Business Partner as well as leading an amazing HR team


* Develop a deep understanding of the organisation's goals and build a strong consultative relationship with departments.
* Provide proactive and strategic guidance and support for organizational planning and development initiatives that align the human resources agenda in support of key business strategies and initiatives
* Foster a learning organisation through communication, management and learning and development
* Coach and mentor the senior team and align people strategy and processes to drive a high performance culture and for competitive advantage.
* Make the organisation more efficient through the organisational effectiveness of its people

* This is a hands-on role, requiring an in depth understanding of and significant exposure to both strategic and operational HR function, OD, change management and IR/ER.
* Relationship management and partnering with all areas of the organisation is key to the success of this role and therefore exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, with the ability to build rapport, trust and effectively work in partnership up and down the organisation as well as the ability to effectively engage, lead and motivate your own team
* Degree level educated either in Human Resources or with an HR equivalent to CIPD Level 5
