The role will play an integral part in providing specialist advice to the SHRBP across the full range of Human Resources activities.

Main Duties

First point of contact for all employees by providing advice, guidance and support on all policies and processes.

Manage the entire talent acquisition process

Manage our Preferred Supplier List

Deliver an excellent on-boarding experience for new starters

Proactive administration of HR processes such as new starters, contract extensions

Monitor probation end dates

Look after the maternity process from start to finish.

Assist with the maintenance of all HR policies and procedures

* Exceptional understanding of providing a high level of customer service to everyone engaged and employed at the institute;
* Well organised with a strong ability to prioritise;

* Strong problem solving skills with excellent attention to detail;
* Good understanding and experience of working in a changing environment.

Key Technical Knowledge and Experience

* A basic knowledge of good HR practice including recruitment administration;
* Experience of using at least one HR system,
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and outlook;
* Administrative experience;
* Relevant experience in an HR environment is desirable.
