An exciting opportunity has emerged to join a huge and global organisation as a HR Advisor.

You will be reporting in to the Senior HR Business Partner and working closely within the HR function of a specific area in the business, whilst also being part of a lager global HR function of over 100 people.

Your core responsibilities will be to provide a commercially focused HR solution that:

* Drives and enables a successful business performance.
* Support people through change and inspire individuals to help them reach their potential.
* Engage with your client base and create a high performing culture.

The successful individual will need to be very confident in their ability and keen to share their own ideas within the larger business, therefore previous experience dealing with key stakeholders is essential.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

* Using your experience and knowledge within HR to independently manage:

* Grievance and disciplinary hearings including those within a unionised environment.
* Redundancy consultations and related interventions to ensure a satisfactory outcome for both the business and the individual(s)
* Performance and absence management working closely with HR Business Partners and managers in the business

* Dealing with day-to-day operational issues, using commercial HR advice and interventions to managers and staff when solving problems, making recommendations and implementing improvements.
* Work closely with the HR Business Partners to enhance individual performance within the business through a variety of employee engagement and change management
* Undertaking a variety of special projects (such as office moves, improving new starter onboarding, researching and making recommendations on new initiatives), and administrative duties as required.

Key Skills Required:

* A sound understanding of HR principles, generalist experience in a unionised environment, and a good understanding of employment law.
* CIPD qualification
* Proven experience as an HR Advisor, effectively managing employee relations.
* Previous experience of organisational change including TUPE (in and out), mergers and acquisitions and post-acquisition integration.
* Strong communication and influencing skills
* Self-motivated and results orientated
* Comfortable with change and ambiguity
* Ability and passion for working in a highly collaborative team
* Ability to build relationships at all levels in the organisation

This role will require some travel throughout various office.
