Digby Morgan is partnered with a fast-growing Media firm based in Hammersmith who are looking to appoint their first Head of Learning & Development (L&D).

Although standalone at the moment, this role would sit within a very robust HR team reporting into the HR Director who is on the Senior Leadership Team of the organisation. The Head of L&D would be partnering with the C-Suite along with designing and delivering all aspects of the L&D function.

This would entail:

  • The design and delivery of an organisation-wide Learning & Development strategy and solution
  • Partnering with the wider HR team in assessing capabilities across the organisation and aligning this to the long-term people agenda
  • Coaching and development at the Executive level
  • Implementing a framework for identifying skill gaps, learning opportunities, and high-potential employees
  • Developing competency frameworks and succession plans
  • Enhancing the existing Leadership Training Programme
  • Embedding continuous learning and an openness about career development conversations between Management and their direct reports

The Head of Learning of Development Must Have:

  • Demonstrated expertise in leading the design and roll-out an L&D function aligned to the wider people agenda
  • Exceptional organisational and project management skills
  • Experience in transforming into a digital environment
  • Coaching and developing at the C-Suite/Executive level
  • A deep passion for Learning & Development and embedding this in a highly-engaged workforce
