Digby Morgan are partnered with a European software product company, headquartered here in London (with an office in Haddenham), who are presently seeking a Group HR Manager to join them on a permanent basis during a period of transformation and expansion.
The Group HR Manager will sit in the Senior Leadership Group and be responsible for:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy (policies, handbooks, etc)
- Support in an organisational restructuring programme and lead integration of future acquisitions
- Provide support with the recruitment and selection of new employees
- Nurture a positive working environment which promotes employee well-being
- Manage the performance appraisal system to drive high performance and follow up on any performance concerns
- Support full life-cycle recruitment activities from the intake meeting with stakeholders, sourcing candidates via LinkedIn, to offer stage
- Lead orientation and other aspects of new employee on-boarding
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programmes
- Oversee compliance requirements
Required Experience:
- Previous experience at the HR Manager level
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases - ideally People HR
- Strategic HR business partnering approach
- Knowledge of redundancy and acquisition and/or integration activities
- Experience hands-on recruiting via platforms such as LinkedIn
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- Ability to work autonomously
