Digby Morgan Makes it Two out of Two as the UK’s Best HR Recruitment Firm 2009
Digby Morgan has had its leading position endorsed for the second consecutive year winning Recruiter Magazine’s 2009 award for Best HR Recruitment Firm.
Given that the HR category has only been running for the last two years, this 100% record is especially impressive. In acknowledging Digby Morgan’s entry, the judging panel of leading industry experts and opinion formers, said that: “For the second year in a row, Digby Morgan’s entry stood out from the competition.”
The judges went on to say: “The entry demonstrated a comprehensive and well-established approach to HR recruitment that provides a candidate and client experience positioning Digby Morgan at the highest level of service.
“Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the company was number six in Recruiter’s 2008 ‘Hot 100’. Digby Morgan has seen massive expansion in the last few years as a result of both organic growth and strategic acquisition. Headcount and revenues have more than doubled over the last three years. Following its acquisition by Vedior and, subsequently, the Randstad Group, Digby Morgan is now the group’s key global HR recruitment brand, operating increasingly on an international basis and actively recruits across Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific in particular.
“The company’s work with the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) to build a world class HR function at its HQ in the UAE highlighted Digby Morgan’s international credentials. The firm’s knowledge of the global financial services arena, gained over 20 years, meant that the company was ideally placed to help the ADIA source the best talent from around the world. As well as sourcing top HR individuals last year, the company continues to work closely with the ADIA to ensure that its ongoing international requirements are quickly and effectively met.”
Client’s testimony: “The relationship with Digby Morgan goes beyond the assignment you are working on now. I’ve never felt I’ve been ‘sold’ a candidate and I’m more than happy to endorse them. Our relationship is deep-seated.”
Employee’s testimony: “I think the management is very supportive. They look at your needs and your performance, and tailor it to you. Having that sort of environment creates similar types of people — people who are go-getters and really want to do well.”
