New Faces January 2009

Digby Morgan has added to its London based teams with a couple of new recruits

 Lindsay Holland

Alister Jenkins

Lindsay Holland has been appointed as a consultant and joins the London team looking after HR professionals from entry to mid level. Lindsay spent the last four and a half years working for Allen Associates, an independent Oxfordshire consultancy.  She joined the company as a trainee in 2004 and enjoyed seeing the company and their reputation go from strength to strength.  Lindsay contributed heavily to the growth of their Marketing and PR division, although the company also had other divisions in HR, Finance and PA/Administration.  Having gained a strong introduction to the recruitment industry, she felt the time was right to join a bigger agency with a different specialism and was particularly attracted to the HR industry.  Lindsay is excited about using her experience to develop relationships with clients and candidates, old and new, and continue to expand her knowledge of the HR profession as a whole.

Alister Jenkins graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2006 after reading philosophy. After travelling and working for a while in Switzerland, Alister began his career in recruitment in the IT sector. After seven months with his first recruitment company, he began to look at other options within the industry. After attending the associate consultant day at Digby Morgan, Alister was convinced that HR recruitment, and Digby Morgan in particular, was the best place to progress and build his long term career.

“With just a few months experience in recruitment, I was pleasantly surprised with Digby Morgan’s approach and how everyone was so genuinely friendly and seemed to really enjoy their work” said Alister. “The associate consultant day was very enjoyable and stress free and I was very quickly sold on the role and the ethics and principles of the company. I’m looking forward to bringing some of the skills I have learnt within recruitment to my new role and also learning lots of new techniques to further develop my candidate and client relationship skills.”
