Thank you for your interest in a role with in the council’s HR service. All of these roles are significant posts that will be key in taking our human resources function on its journey to excellence.

We have already had a strong HR function in Greenwich but one that has in the past, focussed on a more traditional personnel role. We have restructured the whole function to reposition ourselves to be real strategic partners to the whole council. In the challenging times that face local government the HR function needs to provide excellent and evident value for money whilst delivering creative people solutions to some tough challenges.

Greenwich is an ambitious and effective council with a great track record of innovation and service delivery. With the management team you’ll be on the cutting edge of the HR transformation, setting a new standard for people management for the rest of the organisation.
