Environment

As a provider of services rather than products, we’re in a better position than most to limit the impact of our business activities on the environment. However, even as an office-based organisation, we still consume a bewildering array of natural and man-made resources.

As a company, we are urgently adopting a much more proactive environmental policy, incorporating annual targets, in response to what is currently acknowledged to be a wholly unsustainable use of natural resources.

By undertaking environmental audits of all the businesses within our group, we aim to have a benchmark from which we can reduce our carbon footprint to a fraction of what it is now. This will entail cutting the consumption of unsustainable resources as diverse as stationery and energy, reviewing our travel policy, and promoting recycling initiatives.

The encouraging thing is, all the signs are that operating more sustainably is not only good for the planet, it’s good for business too.
